Just driving by, booked the last room on a Friday night. Staff were friendly and very hospitable and made us feel welcome. The room was spotless, roomy and well stocked with consumables. Plenty of parking and an excellent restaurant on site. Rooms overlook fields at back and, whilst just off the main highway, very quiet and peaceful.

The rooms are comfortable; good heating on a very chilly night. Old-fashioned continental breakfast provided via mini-door to the room. Friendly. The on-site steakhouse is handy; huge meals. There was overhead heating but that building can be chilly. Again, friendly.

Six of us spent a night here last week, and found the Clydesdale a most pleasant place. Clean and comfortable rooms, good beds, and quiet enough despite being close to the main road into Casino.
The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Dinner at their steakhouse was also good and not expensive.

I have stayed here a few times over the years and it never disappoints, the motel is showing some signs of age but is always very clean and comfortable. The rooms are a good size with all you need in there. It's set back from the road so is fairly quiet but you might hear the odd cow or cane toad.
The staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful and the on site restaurant is a bonus.

Room Tip: Do stay, you will love it

OMG the biggest rump we have ever seen, cooked perfectly, juicy & tender. The
entire meal was delicious.
The buffet was set up unusually starting with hot sweets, followed by salad then hot noodles, then a cold sweets fridge followed by hot meats and gravies, then hot veges then the soup and on another wall, the bread for the soups? Really mixy matchy, some order would be good.
There was no butter or Margerine for the potatoes (depressing lol)
The atmosphere and service was fantastic, will certainly be returning.

The accomodation side of things was poor, each room has a breakfast service door which is rather cool, however not so cool that the doors don't fit the gaps enabling one to see into rooms and when standing close, get a full view of whatever is in the room. We first noticed this walking back to our room from the restaurant, being night time with lights on inside we could see through these gaps into most rooms - eeek.
Our room had a particularly big gap so were very grateful we had noticed.
This is a privacy issue that needs addressing, its a bit creepy.
I went to use the supplied hairdryer, it was so sticky and dirty it was unusuable, yuck.
Touched the overhead light in the bathroom and it almost fell off, it never worked and wasn't fitted properly. Used a tissue from the wall and the cover did fall off.
Door to shower kept coming off the runners and didn't close properly but the shower was roomy and had the best & biggest shower head with great pressure, it was Fantastic.
We had booked for 4 adults and were told it had a double and two singles beds but were neglected to be told that all the beds were in the same room.
The air con unit was a challenge, the switch to this was on the opposite side of the room to the unit, a little note pointing this out would have saved some brain strain.
Were not offered a WiFi code on check in.
Beds were comfortable but linen basic and outdated. Couch cushions on bed were touching the clean pillowcases which really revolts me.
The cleaners need to look UP, spider webs adorn all cornices.
Our room had a little patio out the back with outside table & chairs with a lovely view of horse stables and rolling green grass.
