We loved our weekend here. The hosts were super friendly and the glass of port on arrival was a lovely touch. The queen room was comfortable and warm. The ensuite was tiny, but given the historic nature of the hotel it is fine. The hotel has been beautifully restored. The gardens were beautiful. Sitting with a drink by the fire meeting other guests was lovely.

The house is quite old , but everything is really clean and well maintained . It has a nice atmosphere.
The chocolate port on arrival terrific! The roaring fire was wonderful. Food excellent.
Lovely breakfast included.Would definitely return. All the staff are friendly and we felt very well looked after.

Room tip: Rooms at back probably quieter

Highly recommend. Good rooms but bathroom a little older. Set in lovely area opposite golf links with short walk into town. Fabulous evening sitting in lounge chatting to guests and listening to music. Breakfast excellent.

The glass of port on arrival told us that we were in a very welcoming friendly place. Even though the property is quite old it is very well maintained and very clean. The bathroom in our room was very compact-but functional. Our room was well heated and the bed was very comfortable with separate electric blankets on either side. The highlights for us-apart from being in Bowral- were the meals in the Vida restaurant...the dinner and breakfasts were excellent.
