“Couples summer break”
Reviewed 2 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Phil and Caroline were excellent hosts, making us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute we arrived. We were gateful for the help we received with bags and a delicious Cornish cream tea on arrival too!
Breakfast was a continental hamper with plenty of choice and a sheet to make requests if required. We would have liked the option for a cooked breakfast or facilities to make our own so that was slightly disappointing, but there was always plenty of other tasty choices.
The accomadtion is lovely and feels private, including own: shower en suite; dining space; lounge space; small balcony and garden. Beach decor was tasteful, light and airy- perfect for a holiday get-away.
Phil and Caroline are lovely to chat with and offered advice on the surrounding areas and restaurants and also showed us to the nearby shortcuts. They were friendly and made it clear that we could communicate with them as much or little as we wished to during our stay.
Unfortunately our hosts had to change our agreed booking date at the start of the holiday, but quickly sorted out the situation and added an extra day the end of our week instead.
Nothing seemed like too much trouble for Phil and Caroline and we would happily recommend Driftwood and the area of Charlestown to anyone. Thank you!
