We stayed in room 147 and had an amazing time.
The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and our room was a great size.
The bed was incredibly comfortable.
The food was delicious!
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Went with the family for a short break to Cornwall.
The hotel is in an ideal location to explore Cornwall with beaches just 10 mins away.
We loved the restaurant although the breakfast portions could have been bigger . The bar & lounge are fantastic but the greatest thing about this place are the staff, they can’t do enough for you & always have smile on their faces.
The only reason I gave 4/5 stars was that their isn’t any AC in the rooms but it’s a listed building & they renovating so it’s understandable.

Stayed last weekend for a 3 night break (with friends)....lovely hotel and such a great place for exploring the surrounding area. Ate at the hotel for dinner twice during our stay, food and service excellent.......great selection of gins!
Lovely beaches nearby.....in particular Portreath. Explored St.Ives by parking at Lelant Saltings and taking the train (great views of the coast)....well worth a trip.

We’ve just come back from a 4 night stay at this lovely boutique hotel.
Very nice in a good location for exploring St Ives (you can train in for £6 return pp from Redruth) Mevagissey, Fowey and Falmouth.
Hotel and staff are very welcoming and it sits in gorgeous grounds. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the bar is really well kept and trendy. Good extensive collection of drinks behind the bar. We didn’t eat dinner here as we were out and about but the breakfast was delicious!! With a very extensive menu.
Great little swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Again clean and well kept (but perhaps just a lick of paint / modernisation needed) to match the modernness of the bar.
The hotel very kindly upgraded us free of charge on arrival. We had a garden suite which was lovely. Such a beautiful bathroom and a huge room! Such comfy beds, great nights sleep and warm in the rooms, so much that we needed a fan!!
For people who need WiFi and tv - both are excellent and great signal.
Hotel was very quiet even though it was fairly full it seemed. Peaceful and relaxing. We will recommend and hope to be back in the future :)

We stayed for 3 nights this June.
We requested a downstairs superior room with a patio & shower which was confirmed when we booked.
When we arrived we were told the only downstairs available had a bath & no shower so we then had to have a room on the first floor as we required a shower rather than a bath. Very disappointing.
The room was lovely, clean & comfortable, lovely big bed.
It looked like it had recently been refurbished.

The downside to the room was as it was on first floor there was no lift & only stairs.

The hotel restaurant was very good & food was delicious.

The hotel location was a good location to get to surrounding towns etc.
Unfortunately Redruth itself was not very good.
