We really enjoyed our stay at the Merrymoor. The rooms and clean and spacious and we had a lovely view over the beach. The location couldn’t be any better if you tried, right on the beach with a lovely pub garden to enjoy the sun. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner at the MM but the breakfast was really delicious and they were fantastically helpful catering for gluten free. We would certainly return if in the area again.

Just spent a few days at the Merrymoor. Not the best looking hotel from the outside but once inside wow. The food was excellent, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room had a jacuzzi and the views of the beach were spectacular. It was spotlessly clean. Will definitely be going back.

We decided for our last meal of our holiday we would spend it at The Merrymoor Inn and were very pleased that we did.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome by the staff when shown to our table. They also showed the same welcome to our dogs.

The table service was very good with a good selection of food on the menu and the daily specials board.

Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal, service, atmosphere and certainly will be returning again when we are visiting the area.

We visited the Merrymoor whilst staying at Bedruthan Hotel.
Absolutely loved it. Friendly and welcoming we sat in the conservatory with views of the beach.
The young man who served us was really lovely.
We both opted for the homemade burgers which were superb really tasty and no grease in sight. Was a treat to get a lovely high quality bread bun and not a sickly brioche which seems to be the current fashion. This was followed by a really indulgent sticky toffee pudding, heaven!
Will definitely be back.

We called in couple of times for coffee, and saw sign for Curry Night and booked a table 6, we arrived to a very busy bar restaurant/bar our table was ready,, staff seemed rushed & as not used to table service we went to bar and ordered our own drinks, to be told off because its table service, after waiting a while wondering how we got our curries to be told oh go to bar and order, what happened to table service?
on collecting our curries, which i wish i hadnt, the curry was spicey, but bland, Obviously Chef never had a proper curry. it ment to be a curry buffet, a choice of 3 dosnt make a buffet, wish we went to weatherspoons night before, would have enjoyed it more & new what to expect, your curry night isnt worth what you charge, your staff are rude especially the older guy, usually tip good service but all staff that night were rude and emotionless.
As a dog lover & owner i dont agree with your policy re dogs in restaurant/bar area, the over powering smell of wet dog was disgusting, if dogs welcome fair enough but dogs/owners in there own area, our dog stayed safely in her cage in boot of a well ventilated car.
