Lovely walk and although you have to keep the dogs on leads there is a large space for your dogs to have a run before you walk, I would have liked the whole walk round the lake to be off road.

We walked here regularly until early 2022 and then we stopped due to getting frustrated by the selfish inconsiderate dog owners who blatantly ignore the clear signs banning dogs from being off lead.
We returned today for the first time in over 2.5 years and looking forward to doing a circuit of the lake.
Within 5 minutes of our walk we came across 2 piles of dog poo on the path plus 1 dog off the lead barking at some ducks.
In the hour it took us to do the circular route, we saw 3 dog poops, and 4 owners ignoring the rule of dogs to be kept on lead.
We pointed this rule out to 3 of the dog owners and received a load of sweary abuse in return.
We will not return.

A gem of a place to visit for the whole family !Something for everyone! A delightful walk around the perimeter, fly fishing for some of us, and an on site cafe! Recommend for a family day out.
