The cottage is situated within farmland and accessed via a narrow single track road. The hedges either side of the lane are in need of trimming to prevent scratching vehicles. The barn has been converted into a good size holiday let a few years ago we believe and is in need of a little TLC in some areas. The main bedroom would benefit from losing the four-poster drapes and the ensuite shower room needs a spruce up. The kitchen and living room were ideal for us and were equipped to a reasonable standard. On leaving we left a note to point out one or two minor things, such as the clock needing a new battery, a light bulb needing replacement and the oven a good clean. Some attention to detail such as the saucepans and oven tray being in a poor condition and requiring replacement wouldn't go amiss. We did have a pleasant week in this peaceful place and overall it did the job well. It is situated in an area which is handy for amongst other attractions Port Isaac, Padstow and Tintagel and we found the directions to get there reasonably accurate.
Just returned from our stay in Staddlestone. The barn is spacious and comfortable and the farm is in a beautiful rural location. Very quick to get by car to the beaches and to Padstow Rock and Bude. Spring flowers on the farm amazing. Gill is a great host always on hand if you need help or advise on where to go. Incredible value for money as the barn sleep 7.
We have just returned from staying at the old barn cottage

This is the second time we have stayed here. The cottage is large and very well equipped. The upstairs living and first floor patio area gives lovely views over the countryside my younger boys loved the cows that graze in the adjacent fields. The farm is set away from any roads so safe for the children to play out and explore. It has everything you need for a great family holiday. We will be back
