Very interesting through out, lots of unexpected and unusual artifacts, a must visit for any armed forces buff. While not really suitable for young children, older kids and adults of all ages will find this hidden gem fascinating. The gift shop is very small and doesn't sell much in the way of branded mementoes, the cafe is just a vending machine but toilets for all near the small play area.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, plenty of parking too, a place to add to your to must see list when visiting Cornwall.

This museum looks like a labour of love from the people who opened it, it is full of memorabilia of all the armed services who serve this country and has a wealth of information on all parts of our armed forces.
I thoroughly enjoyed my few hours looking at the well thought out displays and looking at all the aircraft, vehicles and items from the collection.. An absolute little goldmine and worth spending a few hours here ....

Not to be missed! A massive, interesting and diverse collection of memorabilia and history. The human story behind the creation of the museum is as massive and diverse as the collection and an amazing story. We visited in gale force winds and despite the exposed position we stayed dry and safe.

Have been several times over the years, significant additions and changes so we worth another visit! Recommend watching the video at the start to see the hard work everyone has done to restore the site.
