Went here for evening meal, lovely big pub plenty of seating nice outdoor seating area .The downside was ordered starter of nachos which would have be great if it had arrived before main course so not really that impressed .

To our surprise, this hotel surpassed expectation in almost every respect including price, even if the Wetherspoon pub next door doesn't quite make the grade. The accommodation boasts spacious rooms with comfortable beds, large TV on wall and daily tea/coffee making provisions replenished daily, including Cornish biscuits and bottled water. Walk-in shower room adapted for disabled users as well. Mostly quiet in spite of the raucous atmosphere in the giant pub next door. Keyless card entry gives electricity that switches off automatically when you leave the room, so phone charging is recommended overnight. Air conditioning in room is controllable and works well. Meals and drinks taken in the pub next door are fantastic Wetherspoons value, though the biggest gripe is filthy tables and menus splashed with old alcohol that haven't seen a deep clean for ages, so the establishment falls short of 5 stars in my opinion. Staff could be better trained in this respect, as diners can reasonably expect clean premises when they are paying to dine at the pub. Another minor downside is the lack of on-site parking, though nearby Rosewarne Long Stay car park offers great value parking in 24-hour periods which can even be paid for in advance, which is helpful. Would very much be tempted to look at Wetherspoon accommodation in the future, as I would say it is a slight cut above Premier Inn and - for the moment at least - less well known.

Room Tip: Some rooms seem well adapted for physically disabled users.

The room was very nice. Very clean. Huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Attached restaurant was moderately priced and good. Conveniently located. We were there two nights and enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff in this hotel are really all exceptional! The receptionist was warm, friendly and made us feel like they really wanted us there. The bar and waiting staff worked like lightning at the peak dinner time and still remained calm and friendly having little conversations and jokes with our family. Just outstanding all of them, they need recognising Weatherspoons management! Our family room was very large, modern and spotlessly clean, more than enough room for a family. Being so close to our favourite beach in Cornwall, Gwithian, we will certainly stay here again.

We arrived to find a lovely spacious room with a large modern bathroom with both a stand-alone bath and a shower. The room certainly surpassed our expectations. Tea coffee and biscuits were provided and the bed was large and comfortable. We stayed two nights and ate mostly in the pub downstairs which wasn’t such a great experience, busy and noisy with the usual Wetherspoons fare. I would definitely recommend the hotel, with its friendly helpful staff, but would suggest for a more peaceful dining experience guests look elsewhere to eat.
