The YHA is, as others have said, right on the harbour and you can see the river and the tide at odds with each other. The village itself is a somewhat sleepy place with hints of a history of witchcraft and a history going back a long way.
The room was surprisingly modern given the location and was clean, comfortable and quiet. The showers were equally clean, however the one I used was a little awkward due to the intersection of the roof.
If you are looking to stay and would like somewhere to eat, The Cobweb serves great food until 2130 and has a good selection of ciders and ales.More
