We stayed in YHA Boscastle in September 2016 while doing some walking in Cornwall. This is a gem of a hostel. It is a great size - not too big and impersonal and is extremely well equipped. It is close to the harbour mouth and all the delightful little cafes and shops of Boscastle.
We had a spacious family room with a large bathroom that was also equipped for those with a disability. The kitchen was well equipped and clean and the dining area and lounge was a really pleasant place to relax. There was also a drying room.
The staff were friendly and helpful and kindly did a load of washing for us in the hostel machine.
In short - we think this was a great hostel and we have stayed at quite a few in the UK over the years.

Many thanks for your hospitality and a lovely stay.

Fabulous setting for walkers and land lovers alike. The two ladies that run this place are so kind and helpful. A lovely YMA hostel.
Close to many points of interest such as Tintagel castle and Bude which can be easily reached by car.

It was great, thanks. The hostel is a splendid little harbour side place, having been thoughtfully refurbished since the devastating flood damaged it extensively, & we were given a lovely welcome. The bed was comfortable, the showers, kitchen and everything else super-clean. The fellow guests were a warm, interesting International bunch some of whom we had animated conversations with, & the extra excitement was viewing a horse being ridden right by the hostel early in the morning for a harbour dip - some sight to see!

Stayed here in September with my mate on a walking holiday. YHA is situated in a beautiful location, might on the harbour. A fantastic hotel, clean, we'll run with unobtrusive staff who are friendly and helpful. One of the best hostels I have stayed in.

We stayed 2 nights in Boscastle yha but could have stayed far longer. The yha site is a gem, really near the harbour, with a stream running alongside. Staff couldn't have more helpful and welcoming. Facilities were modern, bright and clean. There were breath-taking walks along the cliff. We talked to the coast watch volunteers and used their binoculars to look at the fishing boats. Everyone was extremely friendly. The village was well worth walking around with numerous historic pubs and gift/art shops.
