Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

The Kling House is a great place for breakfast. We enjoyed the baked oatmeal and the french toast during our recent three day stay at the Inn.

THe breakfast was excellent with Egg Benedict and the accompaniments. It was not crowded and the staff gave us enough attention. Lunch was however different. The restaurant was filled with guests and therefor looked small. The girl who was attending was loud, her voice a decible too high. The fish and chips was greasy served on a plateful of finger chips. The plate itself was long and narrow that barely could hold the food. No , we couldnt finish the food. My suggestion is to go for the breakfast.

We had the Fish & Chips there was too much breading and lukewarm fries. Complementary pepper jack cream cheese and crackers for coming in. The applewood chicken salad looked great. Quiche of the day and salad was fantastic

My husband and I visit Kitchen Kettle Village often, where the Kling House restaurant is located. However, we usually bring our Yorkie with us, and therefore, are not able to dine in the restaurant. This past weekend, on an anniversary trip, we were able to do just that.
We had lunch at Kling House over Halloween weekend. The servers were dressed for the occasion, and it created a very fun and festive atmosphere.
We both ordered drinks, a peach iced-tea for me, and a birch beer for my husband. I then ordered the Pumpkin Ravioli, and my husband had the Meatloaf entrée. Our server, Angelica, could not be more pleasant. The Pumpkin Ravioli, with candied pumpkin seeds, was out of this world. I truly wanted to come back on our way home just to order this delicious dish again, but time constraints did not permit us to do so. My DH's meatloaf, although tasty, was a bit on the spicy side. The accompanying mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious.
For dessert, we could not pass up Angelica's recommendation of the Coconut Cream Pie, and boy, were we glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this sweet bit of heaven! Delicately flavored, not too sweet, with the lightest bit of whipped cream on top. Simply sublime!
Do yourself a favor and make a point to visit the Kling House during your next visit to Kitchen Kettle. I am sure no matter what the season is, they will have some warm, delicious comfort food waiting for you!

We ate lunch here and loved every bite. The service was fantastic; very patient, answered all of our questions, and allowed us to sample unfamiliar foods before ordering. Food was extremely fresh and delicious.
