Ramada Hounslow - Heathrow East

We stayed in this hotel when visiting friends nearby. We found it reasonably priced and a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff helpful. We requested a quiet room and indeed we were given one which was just that. This does not always happen in hotels. The breakfast is not cheap but fine.
There is a small carpark at the hotel, so getting a space could be difficult but there is public parking very near the hotel

Booking through the Internet made this Hotel very good value. Conveniently close to Hounslow Central Underground Station, an enroute Station to Heathrow, it is both clean and comfortable. Both English and Continental breakfasts are available with the cheaper Continental being more than adequate to start the day.

Staff are polite and helpful.

I have two gripes in an otherwise good stay. The conditioning in the room was stuck at full fan rate with no heating adjustment. The room (114) was quite chilly. Having reported the fault it seemed to have been fixed when I returned. However, closer inspection revealed that a botch job had been carried out with the air venthaving been stuffed with loo paper or tissue. Not very professional. Moreover, the thermostat still did not work. At least the room was not as chilly during the night as the 2 previous nights.

Housekeeping was a little sloppy on Sunday. No hand towel and no floor mat.

With just a little more attention to detail, an average rating could have been a Good rating. Did the Front of Restaurant action my comment about the eati8ng area I occupied?

The locality lacks a good choice of eating places.

I would consider staying here again.

We stayed overnight on 17 March with anotheer couple and used this as our base to go to Twickenham to watch England destroy Ireland.

I booked the hotel online several months before for £110 per room.

Our early check in was granted by the efficient staff. We got to the hotel early and were lucky to park in the small car park.

The room was fine, a decent bathroom and particularly good shower.

The room was spacious with a nice TV.

The bed was a bit disappointing and sloped slightly.

It was no big deal though.

We had a few very reasonably priced beers in the hotel, pre match and returned to the hotel after the game and had a lovely bar snack type meal- again reasonably priced.

We have no complaints about this hotel and will use it again for our Twickenham base.

This is a clean, comfortable and welcoming hotel best desribed as a little oasis in an unfashionable area. Super location to get to Twickenham without the crowds. As a party of four, we were pleasantly surprised at the facilites; the bar is functional but stocked with everything you could want and the restaurant is a wonderful glass extension to the hotel making breakfast a real treat. Both continental and english breakfast is on offer withplenty of choice. We didn't eat at night as there was an Indian in the toewn which we particularly wanted to visit.Parking could be a problem as it has around 30 spaces and I could envisage on occasion this might not be enough, although we found aspce easily enough. Would highly recommend it as a cut above the budget market but with budget prices.

Not a destination hotel or anything, but gives you a clean room, and the tube station is just 2 blocks away, making it easy to get to London, or to/from Heathrow.
