We walked along the South shore sandy beach and on to the North beach, what a difference the North was very pebbly and difficult to walk on this may have been due to the weather and the rough seas. We normally go to the South but as we were staying for a long weekend we decided to both. We prefer the South side but will give the North side another try later in the year.

Bridlington has two lovely beaches and the North Beach made for a great walk even when the weather's not great. This was the case when we visited at Easter.
Love that the groins are still in place makes the sands more interesting. If you don't want to walk on the beach there is a great promenade too.

This is a really good beach for families. there are lots and lots of interesting stones, shells and even fossils. There are plenty of places to eat and drink around there and all the usual seaside attractions (including toilets!). There are great views along the coast.
