We had calves liver and a lamb shank, all cooked perfectly.
Could have had a wider selection of menu

Good flavours, tiny portions.

The burger I ordered came with the smallest portion of wedges I have ever seen. The plate looked empty and depressed.

The burger itself was nice, but tiny. And charging £1.50 for one rasher of supermarket looking bacon seems excessive when the burger was already £14.50

Not the best value for money.

I didn't bother with dessert after seeing the stingy mains.

Service was average, took a long time to receive our drinks and condiments and they nearly gave away our meals to another table.

Not sure if I would revisit.

Hello,

Thank-you for your review and feedback.
I am sorry that you didn't mention something on the day about your disappointment with your meal, this would have given me the opportunity to correct any dishes.
I welcome your comments regarding service, it was an exceptionally busy day and we all tried our hardest to accommodate the volume of customers.
We hope you will come back and give us another try to see that this was just a one off occasion.

Kind regards,

Visited friday lunchtime having booked a table. Food was very tasty and plentiful. Fish platter for 2 , BLT and a ploughmans all hit the mark. Had a pint of HSB and then the guest beer both of which were lovely. . .
Lovely location near the church . First time visit - happy we did.

I went there on a Monday lunchtime and there were quite a few people eating. The waitresses were very pleasant and the food extremely tasty. For starter I had Bang bang chicken on top of rocket - both were very plentiful. For main the hake on top of crushed potatoes with chard and salsa was lovely, and the sticky toffee pudding (with ale!) and ice cream was delicious.

Booked a table for a party of 4 for 18:00. When we arrived the table wasn't ready and had to wait 15 minutes. When we finally sat down we had to ask for menu after 45 minutes of sitting down, as no one came to our table and we felt ignored. The service was absolutely awful waited for coffee another 35 minutes after placing an order and another 40 minutes just to receive the final bill. Very disappointing first visit to Bull In and I do not think we will be back.

Hello,

Thank-you for your review and comments.
We had an exceptionally busy Sunday this unfortunately affected our service during our peak time in the evening. I apologise for the poor service you received.
This is by no way a true reflection of our usual high service standards and I do hope that you will return to see that we have listened to your comments and improved.

Kind regards,
Sian Smith
