I stayed at The Willows Inn last night. There is very little info about this hotel online and they don't have a website. So I called and made a reservation directly with them.
I arrived late (after 9pm) and while the building itself was lit, the road sign was dark. When I called for the reservation I was told the hotel was under renovations so I wasn't too surprised that the first entrance was closed, but the second was hard to see because the road sign was off. I pulled into the partial parking lot. One half of the building is being redone as is the main building. I stayed in the still-to-be renovated section. Lisa, the desk attendant, was friendly and polite. I asked about the renovations and was told they've been in progress since June 2016. They're taking their time it seems. I asked about breakfast as the road sign advertised a smorgasbord, but no luck. Lisa recommended a hot dog shoppe down the road.
I got to my room to find it clean and roomy, but also quite dated. It's been awhile seen I've seen Tube tv (at least it was color). The bed was comfy and all the sheet and towels were clean. There was no shampoo in the shower, just bar soap but no big deal. Nor was there wifi
But for the price, this was a good hotel. I've have worse experiences at budget...I stayed at The Willows Inn last night. There is very little info about this hotel online and they don't have a website. So I called and made a reservation directly with them.
