We stayed here over the Easter weekend and were absolutely blown away by the charm of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
The décor in the main areas of the hotel is very tasteful and to a very high standard. It all fits in with the period of the hotel. There are plenty of areas to sit and relax and enjoy a drink and a conversation.
We ate Sunday lunch here and it was worth every penny. The food was superbly cooked and the ambience in the main dining room was lovely. It makes you feel like you are part of a large family that has been invited to the country for the weekend.
Our room in the Coach House was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The only small downside was that the Wi Fi did not work in our room.
The hotel is beautifully located right next to the Abbey and I cannot recommend it enough to anybody who wants all of the good things about staying ina hotel.More
