“The perfect place for a town/country break”

This is a lovely apartment in a charming market town. The accommodation is very comfortable, I stayed with my two twenty something children and they were as impressed as I was. The bedrooms are equally lovely so no need to argue over who got the nicest, and the flat is spacious and tastefully decorated. Everything we needed was provided, as well as some lovely welcome gifts. the sausages left for our breakfast were totally delicious! Phil met us and made us feel very welcome, and as there was nobody in after us on the Sunday he made a point of letting us know we could stay as long as we wished, no rushing around on the last day. Unfortunately snow stopped play and we ended up leaving early at 2pm to face the long drive home. Hebdon Bridge is a lovely little town, with lots to do for all ages and interests, and is a short car ride from many of Yorkshires appealing tourist spots. The town seems to have good public transport with a station (my daughter travelled to join us from Leeds- on the train) and lots of busses. As well as a good look round the town and shops and a fab walk along the canal we took a trip to nearby Hardcastle Crags and further afield to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.A trip to the cinema in the town centre and a lovely meal in one of the many tempting eateries filled a couple of evenings, and with the Co-op just over the road self catering was really easy. Not a great flat for people who struggle with stairs tho' There is still such a lot on our to-do list we are planning to return in the early summer. Can't wait, we loved it here.

Thank you for your lovely detailed review! I can only apologise for the lateness of this response. We are glad that you had a lovely stay with us and that you found The Sewing Rooms comfortable! Also that everyone liked the decoration and no one had a hard time in choosing their bedrooms! We like to think we put our own personal stamp on every room, so it's lovely to hear that you appreciated it!
We always like our guests to know that if it's possible, that they can check in early and check out late or even stay an extra day. Sometimes, during busy periods that's not always possible. We know ourselves that it's nice to arrive on holiday early and then have a stress free last day lie in!

We can't wait to welcome you again, when you come and continue your exploration of Hebden Bridge and the lovely places in Yorkshire.
Thank you once again.
We really appreciate every review as it allows us to know what guests enjoyed and what we can continue to do in The Sewing Rooms to make everyone's stay the best stay possible.

“Cosy cottage near all amenities”

A lovely cottage right in the heart of Hebden Bridge. We were there to celebrate the new year, and had a fab time (3couples). The cottage is clean, with plenty of amenities including hair dryer in each bedroom. The cooked breakfast that had been left for us, also the wine, mince pies, bread and milk were a nice touch. The place was decorated nicely for Christmas, and would recommend this cottage if you are looking for a place to stay In hebden bridge.

“Comfortable, cosy & very clean townhouse in centre of Hebden Bridge”
Reviewed 27 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Accommodation was very comfortable and extremely clean - the owners have equipped this townhouse with everything you need and more - a supply of bacon, eggs, sausages, bread & milk was a bonus - in addition the decorated Christmas Tree, Wine, Flowers, mince pies illustrated the attention to detail the owners took in making us feel welcome & comfortable. We had a lovely Christmas break in the heart of Hebden Bridge with all the amenities of this lively town within level walking distance - we had a car and were provided with a free car parking permit. We have stayed a number of times in Hebden Bridge but consider that in terms of space, bedrooms, facilities, attention to detail and price this is one of the best - many thanks for a great break.

“A great place to stay in a lovely part of Yorkshire!”
Reviewed 6 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Just returned from a 4 night stay at The Sewing Rooms. We were met at the train station by Phil and shown around the lovely townhouse, which was very much appreciated after a long journey to get there! The house is over 3 levels, all good sized and homely rooms, with the added touch of a Christmas tree in the lounge and all the trimmings! Mince pies were tasty, sausages, bacon and eggs left for breakfast, nice touch, but there were 2 vegetarians, so we just had dippy eggs in the mornings! Beautiful views of the hills from the attic room, Co op just over the road, we found a tasty cafe called Mooch just a few doors down, which we would definately recommend! Hebden Bridge is an independent, friendly and visually stunning place! We will be back!

“Fantastic break”

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Sewing Room in Hebden Bridge and we were very sad to leave. Accommodation is a 5 star 3 storey town house right in heart of the bustling market town that is Hebden bridge, it has all mod cons and has been done to a very high standard. The location is great with everything right on your doorstep and I must say that I was very impressed with the town itself, great shops, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. Some parts of the town even date back to 1510 I believe. Would not hesitate to recommend to others and will definitely return
