We always used Comfort Inn whenever we visited Hershey during Christmas break. This year we were surprised to see how things have changed since our last visit. The free breakfast has definitely taken a step back, where things seemed like they were reheated from the day before! The rooms are still nice, but were not stocked with enough toiletries. Finally, the staff seemed distant except for the maintenance guy who would greet us every day. We will definitely have to rethink our next stay in Hershey. Again we are long time guests at this hotel and we are somewhat disappointed in how they run the place.

We arrived at the hotel at 10PM and I noted how quiet it was. Apparently they have "quiet time" between 9PM and 7AM and it must work because we didn't hear a peep all night. The room was clean and well appointed, the front desk staff was friendly, the breakfast had plenty of options for us (myself and 2 kids). I'd stay there again.

Basic hotel, basic room. Clean enough for a hershey visit. Indoor pool was ok for the kids to use. We didnt use the continental breakfast, but it looked ok. Location is perfect, cannot be beat. Room itself was a bit dark and dingy, but clean overall.

I expected more for our two day stay in Hershey. The first "suite" they gave us had a faulty toilet so we immediately asked for another. Evidently there are only seven suites in this rather large hotel of seven floors (one suite per floor) and I use the term "suite" loosely. These are really two small bedrooms and a bath that they call a suite but that is a real stretch. The rooms are dimly lit with low wattage bulbs and no overhead lights at all. We were a family of five and this space was crowded but since we were out at attractions during the days we didn't care so much about the rooms. As for the lobby, it is attractive and spacious and the breakfast is better than most. There is a nice pool but the time we were there, there were about six kids jumping and screaming at the top of their lungs the entire time. There was one adult trying to control the children as they were doing dangerous flips into the water as well as making noise, but the other adults with the kids did nothing. This was a law suit waiting to happen if someone got hurt not to mention the discomfort to the other guests who left the pool due to the level of the noise. I mentioned this situation to the front desk but they just shrugged it off. The management needs to pay attention to what is going on in their pool and follow up on situations like these. It's sad enough that parents allow this behavior but the hotel is ultimately responsible if someone gets hurt. This was a real downer for our child (11 yr) who was quiet and just wanted to swim a bit after a busy day. I was there to watch her but we both left after ten minutes due to the discomfort. I was disappointed overall with this hotel because for the above reasons as well as the high cost for these not so good rooms. I suggest the top floor (7th) if you stay here and forget about a suite - get two rooms instead. I will not be returning to this hotel. For animal lovers - there are many ducks that live in the pond nearby and this is fun for the kids. You can feed them from the food dispenser there if you like but do be careful driving in and out of the parking lot because they will come up to each new arrival. I'm giving this hotel a two star rating because of the deceptive description of the rooms on their website and the pool situation but regarding the lobby, breakfast and location it is more a three star.

Room tip: Stay on the top floor.

We've stayed her many of times due to closeness to Hershey, 24/7 coffee, morning breakfast and feeding the ducks. The hotel could use some updates and sprucing up but overall, it's a good place to stay that is family friendly and close to everything in Hershey.
