Our first time there and we are delighted we went. Huge beer hall with lots of tables for eating and drinking. Huge bar with many bar tenders. The beers are quite extensive and there are many unique beers. We enjoyed several and then took the walking tour. Highly recommend this if you are in town.

I’ve had and enjoyed Troegs beers back home and in my travels. I’ve been to countless breweries and brew pubs, and live in a town with one of each. Often people don’t know the difference - they both make beer on premises but a brew pub is a restaurant first and a brewery second. That’s not a bad thing, but there is a difference.
This one is a working brewery and the tasting room is just outstanding. Great variety of beers and I loved the “scratch menu” of small batch brews only available here - that was a nice treat. Counter service food was delish - no boring fried chain pub food here. Nice menu from bites to big meals and desserts. However, if you’re expecting a sit down table service restaurant, that’s not what a brewery is about - that’s a brew pub. Troegs is about the beer, but the food is real good!
This is the real deal for beer lovers and those who want to try new, fresh beers. It’s not a tourist attraction like many other sites in the area.
Five stars. Worth the trip - worth a detour even!

My guy and I went here for lunch and to try the beer. The food was quite yummy! We tried the street corn fries, Bavarian pretzel and I had the chef’s soup, a squash curry that was absolutely wonderful! All are pictured. My guy got a small beer flight (3 kinds) and then we shared a delicious farmhouse ale. It’s a pretty building and we enjoyed the gift shop as well.

Tried a few different beers; enjoyed most of them. Had a little food, it was not an extensive menu, but good.

The new style of large scale brew pub is based on a German Beer Hall, and it's a wonderful amercian adaption of a German tradition. It features community seating at long tables and booths. You order your beer at bar and pick a seat at a table, if you want food, there is another counter for that. The food is very good here, however the german pretzel was bellow average, but the loaded french fries were delicious, and made up for the bellow average pretzel.
