I am not one to post reviews online; however, I do rely heavily on these when deciding where to stay. I feel obligated to leave a review on The Settler's Inn because of how amazing our time was here.

We stayed in Room 203 for 2 nights. The room is not very big, but it is just right for two people. The small love seat by the lamp gives you room to sit down and read or just share a glass of wine. The queen sized bed was so comfortable and the linens were soft and cozy. The room was always warm, so at no point did we require layers and layers to be comfortable. This room is situated at the end of a hallway; however, there is another room to the left and one right across the hall. It was easy to hear the family across the hall, but mostly because they were traveling with small children. At one point there was a bit of a ruckus from the room above us, but we didn't mind it too much since we are not too fussy about these sorts of things.

Kathleen at the front desk was so helpful and even gave us a coupon for our ski trip to Big Bear Mountain. The dining staff were efficient and professional. Since breakfast was included as part of our stay, we came down twice to enjoy this perk. The food was so good and the eggs were fresh. Those were two quality meals. I can only imagine how delicious their dinner options must have been. There is a bar in the lobby and a seating area in front of the fireplace. That entire floor smells so good and smoky.

Staying here was truly a delight and we are definitely coming back. Thank you!

We got stuck in the march snow storm and managed to get a room at this beautiful inn.

THE staff was WONDERFUL, FOOD WAS TERRIFIC and the whole enviroment was just perfect. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK AND I brought home brochure for my office team and a few of them are going to visit in the spring.

KEEEP UP THE GREAT JOB

My girlfriend and I stayed in room 304 for 2 nights. We absolutely loved it. The room itself was a little tiny, but perfect for 2 and had a nice view of the outside garden. The staff was absolutely wonderful, from the planning of the trip through checkout. Everything about this Inn was so perfect, we will definitely be coming back!

This is our 3rd time to the Settler's Inn, and our 2nd time staying overnight, this time for Valentine's Day. The staff was extremely pleasant, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the accommodations very comfortable. Everything about the Inn just says "relax." The best part, however, about this current trip was the delicious, and artfully prepared dinner we had prepared by Chef Kate. From the appetizer to the dessert we were all commenting how amazing everything looked and tasted. One of my favorites was the strawberry conserve served with slice of prosciutto. The halibut I had was prepared perfectly, risotto creamy and flavorful and the several desserts we all shared were decadent, especially the coconut cake with the chocolate sauce! Thank you Chef Kate! You truly have a gift. One complaint we did have though was that our room had a "weird" smell when we arrived which may have been because we were over the kitchen but we told the front desk and it was taken care of.

Settlers Inn has spent a lot of time in the last 3-4 years renovating rooms, and it shows. They leave some open so you can see how individual they are. Don't expect huge rooms- they aren't... more of a B&B style, but you won't want to spend time in your room anyway. In the winter, the cozy fireplace in the main room is super-relaxing, the bartender is terrific, and in the summer, sitting in the garden is perfect. Dining is EXCELLENT.

Room Tip: Stay higher to avoid noise from the bar area, but it was very quiet after 9 PM.
