Went on weekday afternoon and we were the only 2 there. Our guide was very informative and not in a hurry. The wines were relatively average but good. We used a Groupon which included wine tasting souvenir glasses cheese and crackers. Very fun time. Will definitely return in September/ October to see the harvest and bottling process.

The tasting involves 12 wines for $10 (souvenir glass included). The selection is good, and the written descriptions, supplemented by the attendant, were informative. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

The visit was a contradiction, The building and site are amazing but the winery lacks the finishing touches. Little attention is paid to detail, the extra little touches that make a place special. The staff is mostly friendly, but they have a sprinkling of people who truly do not want to be there (older lady). The wines are classic PA wines, unrefined, little attention to detail. The taste made it obvious that the wines were manipulated, a winemaker who lacked attention to detail. What could of be an amazing experience turned into an okay stop. It is all in the little things and attention to detail.

I am not big on Wine but I wanted to have a Wine Tasting for my birthday so I found this company through groupons and it was a great find. It was a wine tasting, tour, and small lunch for 2 at a great cost.

We were coming from out of town and arrived at the location pretty early. The site had plenty of parking and great scenic views. They were in the middle of a tasting as we arrived. One of the employees was kind enough to mention that we could walk around the property while we wait. There was and art exhibit on the second floor. It was only a Monday and the employees were amazed at how busy it was.

Our tour started and we were taken around the facility and showed how there wine making process takes place. It was a nice tour and nothing to amazing because I am not a big wine buff. The tour was about 25 minutes. The views were amazing and the weather was perfect, I took so many pictures. It was really windy though because we were in the mountains. Wear comfy shoes and no heels.

Part II was the tasting and made everything worth it. It was the best part. We were able to sample 11 different wines that were made right there on the property. The whole tasting take place inside while standing. Each taste came with a story and with nuts or chocolate chips. I enjoyed them and purchased one of the bottles. I will be honest that I did have a little buzz from the tasting and treats. At the end of the tasting they also let us have the glasses as a gift that had the company's name on it. It was really nice.

Part III was the small lunch. It was a few meats, cheese, pickles, and crackers. It was good and great because it completely took the buzz from the wine tasting away. So everyone was safe to drive home :-)

Scenery is beautiful but guide sounded like he has spouted off the same talk 50,000 times! Perhaps he has but the visitors aren't supposed to know it.

They don't rinse out the wine glasses in between each tasting! They just kept pouring new wine in glasses. Thought that was very strange.

They don't give you water with the "picnic" lunch..... eat dry crackers, cheese and salty meat without water. Thought that was very strange too.
