We enjoyed walking through TREC and finding out a little more about the area since it was our first visit.

Lots of good history and good info on Presque isle. We had soup on this rainy day in their cafe. They have an observation tower that had sweeping views of the area.

I assumed this was the visitor center for the Presque Isle State Park, it is located on the road to the park just before the entrance. We took the elevator to the top to look over the view of the lake and the amusement park below. The center has many exhibits, showing all the wildlife and plant life that is found in the area. They have a nice gift shop and a restaurant and lots of parking.
