Did dinner one time. Tried steak from the grill. Never again because it had large pieces of fat. It was disgusting. We never went back for dinner. Since then we have enjoyed breakfast buffet but my husband now is no salt, no sugar diet and Shady Maple said they cannot, will not do anything to accommodate his diet.

We should have turned and run away after entering inside the lobby of this hog trough. A severe overwhelming odor of human feces (not to be confused with a cow manure odor smell outside the building) repeat, a human feces odor permeating the huge lobby area adjacent to rest rooms and was clearly also permeating the eating area dining room area adjacent to lobby. Strong sewer gas odor was reported to cashiers upon paying with negative results! Staff and management were in denial of this horrendous odor! Very Nasty!!!! Other parties who have experienced this gross situation please speak up! This nasty smelling place has been reported to state health department...members of this party now suffering from stomach pain, shortly thereafter with vomiting and diarrhea...This is an actual event which occurred! After phone complaint manager and owner both found to be uncaring, oblivious and in denial.. Witnessed huge bus loads of hungry elderly American travelers that were being marched in single file like cattle to feed. Disgraceful.

Starve for 3 days than go to dinner. Even if you are a vegetarian you could eat forever. When they say 20 stations of fabulous they are not kidding. Not only the food how about flavored water, special coffees with hot cream. DO NOT FILL UP ON BREAD OR POTATOES. If you do you will not be able to make your ice cream sundae.
Wed. best day prime rib to die for. You will think you are at a wedding.

We were accommodated so well for a group of 20! This place is HUGE! Lots of great food and price is fair for the kind of food you get. Went on a Thursday for steak and shrimp night! Steak wasn’t the best, but still yummy and the hot shrimp was AMAZING! Cannot day enough good things about this buffet and all the offerings.

We love this place! Whether you go with just the immediate family or bring a large group, you will leave happy. The food is delicious and made fresh in small batches with care. And the smorgasbord (aka buffet) is immense. There are rooms of hot and cold foods. They even have specials each night. Desserts are phenomenal and it's necessary to try several different ones (ergo my need to lose some weight now!). Don't miss trying their wet bottom shoofly pie.

While waiting for a table or when you have hit the point of having trouble walking from having eaten far too much, a visit to the enormous gift shop under the restaurant is in order. Literally anything you think of as belonging in a gift shop can be found there, plus loads of other neat things.
