We have stayed here in the past with the "early American furniture AND the Pink and Green Bathroom a few years ago. They have truly improved with new furniture and beds but they are lacking when it comes to "MATTRESS PADS, FITTED SHEETS AND TOWELS! Thin flat sheets DO NOT STAY ON THE BED ALL NIGHT AND THIN GREYISH WHITE TOWELS DO NOT WORK. Please think about replacing with new soft towels. Placing a mattress pad would protect your new mattresses and fitted sheets would protect your mattress pads. Invest in a heating system that works, slept with our clothes on and worried if we were going to wake up in the morning with temps. in the low teens.YES, the price is right but a cup of coffee would also be nice to see .Good Luck in the future!

Room Tip: Check the Heater before you unpack!

First time we've had a remote to operate the temperature controls, which was nice. Very basic motel. Comfortable beds, very clean. As the title says, fine for the price. Spacious room with microwave and fridge.

OK it's an older motel. But it wasn't bad! VERY inexpensive, and right downtown so very convenient. Very large room, with microwave and refrigerator. Lovely seating on the veranda for smokers. The hosts were very nice, hard working folks who made sure we were comfortable.

Be aware that if you want maid service you have to ask for it. I don't think it costs extra though.

Yes, it needs updated. It's 60's style. There are stains in the bathtub and the heater is loud. The bottom sheet is flat, so if you toss and turn be aware of that. There is no coffee maker in the room and no breakfast. Breakfast would have been nice as Bedford doesn't have many eateries and what they do have is primarily 5 minutes drive near the highway exit.

But the tv selection is amazing (dish network) and the internet was reliable and strong. Good blackout curtains made it great for sleeping. We were there on a weekend so I expected to hear loud partiers but that wasn't the case. I would be comfortable staying many days at this hotel.

Next time I am in Bedford I am definitely staying here. Even with the old key lock, I felt safe and comfortable.

Room Tip: Be aware there is no elevator, so if you are mobility challenged get a ground floor room

The rooms were dirty, smelled of mold spores. Bathroom window would not close all the way. There was no room service. Three days there with out anyone cleaning room or changing linens. If you want fresh towels you must report to office and exchange. Lady manager was rude. I had lost my receipt and she refused to make me a copy in saying that it was my fault for losing it. There was the sound of dogs howling in adjacent rooms when the fire station siren blew. The trash cans were over flowing at the end of my 2 and 1/2 days. Two stars is being generous.

Room Tip: Unless your really strapped for money do not stay here. Could be unhealthy.

The hotel looks pretty from the outside..but that's where it ends. We got the "last room", which was good since they had lost our reservation. The door was terrible to open and we needed help to get in. Once in, the room was filthy. The mattress pads were stained and dirty, the windows had stuff splashed all over them, the mini fridge had dried food on the top. The bathroom was a whole other issue. The shower was not the cleanest and the bathroom smelt of old stale urine. When we asked for our money back, they offered another room. We thought this was the last one... Usually we like to go for the smaller mom/pop motels. They are the cleanest and they have the best prices...Not this time. And I guess we weren't the only ones to leave that night.
