It is an unusual restaurant. It is really more like the bar from Cheers where everyone knows your name. With a few booths for meals. They have umbrellas hanging upside down all around, available for sale. The chairs at the bar have pool balls I assume that makes them roll, though it may just be for decoration. The food is a scale above your average breakfast place. I had French toast with home made bread and maple syrup and fruit compote. Honestly, I think I would have rather eaten regular bread, but it wasn't bad, just a different consistency. This restaurant came highly recommended and because of the lack of available parking, I couldn't try it till the day I left. It is obviously a favorite with the locals.

Great casual atmosphere, sometimes a little loud on weekend nights but great fun. They offer great burgers and pizza but also upscale items like Moroccan lamb.

14 of us came in for lunch after tossing my wifes ashes into the Devils Churn, they were fantastic, a table set up in two minutes, we could have made a meal of the appetizers, smoked chicken wings, flash fried calimari, and the best jalapeno poppers I''ve ever had. real jalapenos with cream cheese, bacon wrapped, not tha frozen boxed stuff. We went back twice in our one week trip--fantastic

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local merchant. It has the most interesting interior with a collection of seemingly unrelated items hanging from the ceiling, but it works. Many hand blown glass objects.
The food was excellent. We split the Mediterranean Burger with Halibut instead of beef. Amazingly tasty. Their Marionberry cobbler was the best we have ever eaten. Ummmm

We've been to Yachats many times over the last several years and two things are always on our calendar: stay at the Fireside Motel and eat at the Drift Inn. We spent three fabulous days there earlier this month and our two dinners at the Drift Inn were excellent. The wait staff is friendly, informative and quick. They never hover, but always seem to be there when you need them. The menu is quite varied with something for every taste and desire. We like to eat seafood at the coast (duh) so we've had oysters, clams, calimari, seafood lasagna, crab ravioli,King salmon, and halibut. You can also get a great steak or vegetarian fare. Everything is delicious! A local musician plays every night and is always pleasant, never intrusive. Parking can be an issue, but something usually appears if you drive south a block and look at the next street on the left. You won't leave hungry or disappointed, only looking forward to the next time you go back.
