So this is one of the few spots I didn’t get to visit on my 101 trip from Reedsport to Astoria. Was SUPER packed on our drive up AND down and decided it would have to be a next time trip. Sucks that tourists from out of state etc can see this no prob but when Oregonians want to explore their own state we have to wait for the tourists. It’s annoying.

Gorgeous sight. I was so glad I was able to see this. Parking not an issue; was an easy pull over to see.

Nice trail to some tidepools and great views. Worth a stop and was free so why not. A river runs through into the ocean near the beach as well

As you drive through this section of the Oregon coast there are numerous turn outs that offer awesome photo opportunities. This one had a short downhill hike that ends up at one of the better ones. Check the local tide tables and time your visit for high tide to view this at it's full fury. When you done drive up to the top of Cape Perpetua and view it from 800 feet above.
