The cabin was quite charming and rustic at first glance, but after 24 hours, we discovered several things that disappointed us, and ended up causing us to stay only two nights out of the four nights we paid for.
The biggest disappointment was the bathroom. We appreciate the owner's efforts in trying to keep the rustic look throughout the cabin, but the claw foot tub in the one and only bathroom was unacceptable. My wife and I have some mobility issues, and the tub was very difficult to enter and exit. In order to utilize the tub for showering, the owners had shower curtains inside the entire periphery of the tub, which severely diminished the space for moving around. Also the water pressure from the shower head was merely a trickle (very literally) - entirely insufficient for bathing, much less rinsing one's hair.
In addition, the water has a very unpleasant metallic smell and taste, requiring us to purchase bottled water at a local store for drinking and making coffee. Prospective renters should be warned to bring their own water.
Illumination is also insufficient throughout the cabin, and several bulbs were burned out, as well as the available flashlights having dead batteries. The downstairs bed is extremely hard and uncomfortable, making getting a decent night's sleep very difficult.
As I mentioned earlier, we stayed only two of the four nights we paid for, and we would appreciate some consideration in that matter. When we returned home, we called Vacasa, to share our concerns, but our words fell on deaf ears.

This cabin is very clean, comfortable, and fun. Lots of windows. It's not as secluded as the pictures indicate but you are right up against the sandy river nestled under tall trees. There are other homes adjacent. I would have given it 5 stars but cannot for a few reasons. 1) the shower hardly works as there's practically no water pressure so the water just drips out. We brought this up and were told that 'we're aware of it but it is what it is and it would take a major plumbing renovation to fix based on the dated plumbing' 2) We were not at this cabin to watch tv but it must be noted that cable is only available upstairs. the downstairs doesn't get reception and only has a vcr. 3) The stairs to the upstairs loft are a dangerous spiral wood staircase. The steps are not evenly spaced and the only toilet is downstairs. must be very careful, not for young children or seniors.
All said, I would likely go back IF they fixed the shower. After hiking in the rain all day or skiing, having water drip on you is not an enjoyable way to warm up. My wife also has long hair and took her forever to get her hair washed.
All said, the place is really neat.
