The food is between good and excellent. The atmosphere is country --- as I figured in a small town of Summer Lake out in the middle of no where's land in Oregon. Cute little gift shop. Nice view of the little lake/pond on the property. I have been here a few times recently and the only bad is the folks who manage the place are not very friendly. I felt like I was intruding or being a pest by being there. If they had a bit of hospitality training it would more than likely do wonders!!! Sorry just being honest. If they owners can take a little constructive criticism and apply suggestions they will probably have no vacancies more often.

It's like an oasis in the middle of the Oregon Outback with water and ponds, fish and birds. Yes indeed, do bring bug spray and sunblock. We were in a cabin overlooking the pond, with a kitchenette which worked well for us. It's peaceful, unfortunately couldn't keep the windows open because the small bugs got in, and there is air conditioning. It's close enough to go up the hill and see the petroglyphs or into the wildlife refuge. There is no wifi, and tv only shows the channel the office is watching. Meals available, great burger and breakfast sausage.

Room Tip: Cabins are the best

This place is clean and quiet. It's a great place to stay if you are visiting the Summer Lake Hot springs or just want to get out and relax in the middle of nowhere. The stars are incredible out here.

The motel room was very large and very clean. There were 2 comfortable queen beds and a small refrigerator. Very peaceful with a small pond in back with catch and release fishing. The cafe next door had excellent food!

Cute rooms, but could be updated a bit. Pond behind the motel was filled with fish and we did catch and release for a couple of hours. Mosquitos were horrible, but that isn't the fault of the motel, so be sure to bring a spray for bugs.
