I travel a lot and have stayed in an insane amount of hotels and this is one of my favorites ever. We had the blue room (can't remember the number) with the two recliners side by side facing the ocean view. Every inch of space was utilized beautifully in this room. It was peaceful, functional, and I wish we had more than two nights here. We used the screen door so we could sleep to the sounds of the ocean. The bed faces the ocean view so you can wake up to the different colors of the sky as the sun rises while listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves. We made ourselves hot chocolate and used the small kitchen to cook meals. Then we sat in those side by side recliners, watching the ocean while we ate. So relaxing. Highly recommend.

Thank you, Pamela. The blue room (#43) is a fan favorite. There's nothing better than relaxing to the soft sound of the ocean from the comfort of your own room. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to seeing you next time.

The room was very comfortable with a balcony view of the cove. Lighted surf was delightful. walking the beach and the Prom from the hotel gave us plenty of exercise - doable for a 75 year old! No elevators so for Seniors it is somewhat difficult getting luggage up the stairs. A bell-boy would have been nice. The desk person gave excellent suggestions for dining.

Room tip: corner room - 2nd floor

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful beach here at Seaside. It's wonderful to be close enough to the Prom to walk, yet far enough away for some peace and quiet. While we do not have a bell-boy, our front desk staff are happy to assist you with your luggage. We look forward to your next visit.

This hotel outdid our expectations. We stayed in room 38 for our anniversary. Upon check in, the desk clerk personally showed us to our room and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. (The morning clerk was also very friendly). Our room had an amazing view of the cove. A much better view than some hotels I’ve stayed in and payed hundreds more a night for. The room featured a huge sectional couch which was perfect for lounging and watching the ocean. We didn’t get a luxury room, but the room was still equipped with a kitchenette that even included cooking utensils and a stove! The room was by far the cleanest hotel room I’ve stayed in. Even the spare blankets and comforter were freshly laundered, which can be rare to find.. the amenities such as the coffee and toiletries were on the higher quality side and the chocolates were a sweet touch. In the morning we were able to watch people fishing and surfing on the cove. We didn’t use the heated outdoor pool but it looked very clean and is at the center of the hotel which blocks the wind which is nice. The only thing I would recommend is that those traveling with children request a ground level room, as the walls are very, very thin. We will definitely remember this place and it was the highlight of our trip.

Cozy room with nice amenities and everything you could want if you were going to cook in the kitchenette. Comfy bed and pillows and love seat. Relaxing and just steps from watching the surfers riding the waves. Rocky beach but not far from the sandy shores.

Room tip: Ocean facing rooms; also rooms that are handicap accessible.

My understanding is that every room is different in layout and furnishings. Ours was a large room with a couch and dining area, a well equipped kitchenette (mini-suite); and a balcony right on the beach (rocky and accessible only for the very hardy, but beautiful nonetheless). There's no A/C, and we would really liked to have had some cross ventilation during our August visit, but we didn't realize until just as we were checking out that there was an operable window in the bathroom hidden behind a privacy lattice. Our bed was in an alcove with a wall on one side and a partial wall on the other, making getting in and out of bed very difficult. I guess I would characterize it as nice but quirky. Parking was extremely limited and access was difficult. Overall it was a nice place, but the quirkiness of the room and the parking issues take it down a notch.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Yes, every room is decorated differently and you can check them all out on our website. The rocky beach is natures way of increasing the sounds of the waves as your drift off to sleep. We look forward to having you back, and just in case, we do offer fans at the front desk for air circulation when the wind is not blowing. Thank you again,
