Nice out-of-the-way floating eatery with a great sunset view. Took the recommendation for halibut fish tacos and they were excellent! This is the model for the perfect fish taco. Very informal and comfortable place, with a roll of paper towels at every table.

Surprised by the authenticity of the food. Enjoyed the quiet spot on the river. Service was friendly prices were very reasonable. Very small quaint place.

Summertime is the best at the Island Cafe. Sit at a table next to the water and enjoy a refreshing drink and watch the boats and paddleboards sail by. We love their shrimp salad and the fish and chips. Waiters are quick to serve you and always friendly. This place gets crowded on those sunny days so prepare for a wait, unless you arrive at opening. While waiting you can enjoy a beverage from the bar and soak up the sun. Wear shoes that will grip the ramp on your way down to the cafe too. And don't forget to grab a piece of salt water taffy on the way out.

A few nights ago I met my brother, daughter and her husband at the Island Cafe. Three of us had halibut tacos. For about 12 bucks you get two large chunks of deep fried halibut with cabbage in soft tortillas and chips on the side with home made pico de gallo. My son in law got the halibut fish and chips which was a huge pile They were outstanding. This cafe is on the water on a small slew off the Columbia River. The menu is pretty extensive and prices very reasonable. Last time I was there I had a burger. Forget it. Get halibut.

Good food. Fast service. The best feel and location. They are super busy and you will often wait, but they have good service... And a gift shop while you wait.
