Cute tapas place making its home in the bustling NW district. The inside is nice, but it was EXTREMELY hot in there today, making it a little stuffy. They do serve Iberico ham (the acorn fed black-footed pigs of Spain), so I give an extra star for that. The service was friendly, but they give WAY too much info about the menu, the ham, the origin of the word Ataula - it was just a bit much. The food itself was a home run, especially the Iberico pork ribs served over the lavender corn. The star was the chorizo lollipops stuffed with goat cheese. Four drinks, four small plates and two tapas came to around $100. Worth a stop in, but I feel like there are better options in the area for the value.

An absolute treat! Everything we tried was delicous and excitingly different. MI Nombre No Es Rita was the perfect drink to begin with, then Xupa Xups, Nuestras Bravas, Ataula Montadito, Croquetas and Pato...and then dessert! Robbie, our waiter, made the evening even more fun by describing each dish, making spot-on recommendations, and talking about the fascinating preparation that goes into many of the dishes. Can't wait to go back!

I've eaten in hundreds of Spanish restaurants, many wonderful fusion restaurants. This is NOT one of them. The food look cute, but it does not taste good. It was a waste of my money. Friendly stuff, good atmosphere, but I went to eat, and ended up paying my bill, walking to another restaurant to have a meal.

Just had great time.
Can tell the chef owner is there .
Had about 8 tapas.
The cod fritters are outstanding as well as the salads. They had a heirloom tomato salad that was extraordinary.
Then the paella with very thin noodles and chicken and chorizo was just like Spain maybe even better.
Then were the fried croissants with Catalan cream inside and sugar on top.
The stuff of dreams
Wine very good as well as service.
What can we say but great.

Newly opened tapas restaurant with food you would find in Spain! Lovely owner, highly recommend the 'Mini Rossejat Negre' dish, totally amazing! Would definitely go back.
