It was Labor Day. We were trying to beat traffic coming home. Hit Pendleton and needed at least decent coffee and a small bite at 6am. Tried one place that said they had food. Turned out to be a drive thru that wasn’t open when they said. Decided to call the next places that popped up on google. The next place answered their phone but said they were closed. Called Buckin and she said they were open. We took the risk and went thru town and up the hill. SOOOO glad we did! They brew their own coffee. The menu is very small but totally worth it. Sausage and gravy with homemade sausage. As a patron told us, ADD AN EGG! I had the croissant sandwich....yummy! So EXCELLENT coffee drinks and small eats for breakfast! The owner was wonderful and the atmosphere was a great local feel. So thankful they were open on Memorial Day! Great local business!
