Description: This is where it all started back in 1996. Envisioned by three inspired founders, a little run-down beachfront building began its transformation into the international icon it is today. The only beachfront brewpub in the Pacific Northwest, this inviting establishment welcomes guests with tantalizing beer cuisine, intimate brewery tours and, arguably, the most incredible beach patio experience around. Gaze in awe at Oregon’s largest Haystack Rock. Watch the surfers. See the sun set. Order another beer.

Location on the beach is awesome, View is spectacular.
Service was adequate.
Wife had a burger and she rated it as "OK".
I had their "famous" fish and chips. Three small pieces of cod with enough fries to feed a two year old child. I've frankly had better fish out of the frozen food section of the supermarket. Coleslaw was also disappointing. Add to this the higher than average prices and you have a place trading on it's former reputation. Save your money n=and eat elsewhere.

One of the best places we've had the pleasure of enjoying a beer. The scenery is awesome! Came here a couple times and would go back many more. Food is good, beer is delicious, and having your toes in the sand and sun on your face is a great day. Gift shop, beer to go, pet friendly, indoor & outdoor seating. Parking can be tough, but you can park on the beach if the lot is full! We've been to a LOT of breweries! We are traveling full time in an RV and make a point to try as many places as we can, and sometimes even go out of our way to visit a brewery. I can proudly say that we've been to at least 200 breweries including most of the ones near our home in San Diego. Also, the rest of Calif, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana.

I read several reviews before going here for dinner. Almost didn't go because of negative reviews. Glad I went, exceeded my expectations. Hamburger was cooked perfectly, clam chowder was hot & tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. It helped that I visited in the non busy season.

Definitely the most busy restaurant in Cape Kiwanda/Pacific City because of its location on the beach, the restaurant by itself is rather average. Due to the fact that it's busy, dinner service was just OK. The menu does not consist of anything original, the good thing is that you can carry out and take the food to somewhere more pleasant. The food, while not excellent, meets the normal expectations.

Great location in Pacific City on beach with parking on side. Eat on patio or inside at tables or bar. Come for the beers. Had lunch and started with stack of onion rings with sauces that were great. Tri-tip and bean burger sandwiches were good. Mac & cheese was a little disapointing. Fish and chips were good. Just wish menu had fresh fish rather than mostly pub food. Beer and root beer to go. T-shirts and other gifts in front. Service was first rate. A good view of beach and stack rock from patio or inside. $$$
