Went at low tide and saw people walking at the bottom. Worth the time to go see it. Tide pools much better at Yaquina Head Natural Area but the stair descent and climbing back up was good exercise!

One of my many stops on oregon coast drive. The formation is alot bigger than the photos displayed. Its about 40 ft across and you cannot keep looking down at the hole...mesmerizing

This stop was on my list of must sees. If you are coming from Newport then there is a sign off Coastal Highway 101. Once you make the turn there is not another sign so it’s easy to drive past. There is a sign coming from the opposite direction. Coming from Newport just remember to turn at the sign for MO’s Restaurant. The punch bowl was something to marvel and for those brave souls one can venture inside.

Worth a quick stop. Parking can be tight.

If you were in the area around Depoe Bay, you should certainly allocate some time to do the Otter Loop and stop at the Devil’s Punchbowl. The punch bowl itself is a fascinating rock formation. You can get great pictures from the viewpoint above. And there are nice panoramic views of the coast line. There’s also plenty of free parking in the area. Definitely worth a visit.
