We heard about the place from the front desk clerk at our hotel, which was across the street from the restaurant. When I asked where I could get a decent bowl of chowder, she pointed me in this direction (and even gave me a copy of the menu to peruse). This is a newish clean family style restaurant featuring TVs with sporting events on them. This was exactly what we were seeking - a straightforward place where we could get a seafood based meal and then move on. We shared a bowl of clam chowder and a cod and chips meal. The clam chowder was cream based (as they tend to be in this area) and quite thick. It was fresh and delicious. The cod and chips consisted of 3 pieces of breaded cod, french fries, lemon wedges and tartar sauce. It was freshly prepared and tasty, although I would say the cod itself was slightly overcooked (it was a bit dry). We had plenty of tartar sauce to dip it in to, so all was well. Pricing was reasonable, and the menu was diverse enough to appeal to many needs. A good score for a travel day.
