Description: First, in January 2012 we opened Falling Sky Brewing House and Pub where we brew all our beer on site. Next, in July 2013 came the Pour House Delicatessen- a true NW Deli (and beer…always the beer.) Finally, in June 2016 the trifecta was completed and we opened the Pizzeria & Public House on campus at the University of Oregon, where our beer reaches its final test does it taste good with pizza? (It does!) We handcraft just about everything we serve. We‘re a collaboration of makers, brewers, farmers, ranchers, cooks, bartenders and foodies. LET IT POUR!

Great food, great atmosphere, dog friendly patio. Happy Hour until 5pm. $7 for a plate of out of this world barbecue chicken legs. Back Alley burger so good with amazing fries.

So disappointed with the food. The Pastrami, what little there was, was fatty, chewy and bland. Fries were cold. So we sent it back. They remade the pastrami sandwich, added another piece of meat, still hard to chew and very fatty. The fries, while they were hot, were the same fries we sent back, all they did was re-fry them. They were burnt and too salty. We left our food on the table, never to return.

Falling Sky has the best fries in town, fight me on that. I mean, really, crunchy, super salty, skin-on... they're great. But enough about fries, the Falling Sky Brewing House is an example of how to cultivate an eclectic-casual space. All of Eugene, take note.

Firstly, it's clean. The Brewing House is in a hip, industrial space like many brewpubs, but its feel neither sterile, nor dingy. The all-wood, hanger style roof adds beautiful texture and warmth to the space, and contrasts well with the smooth, concrete flooring. The seating is reminiscent of a cafeteria, but the soft, yellow lighting takes the atmosphere away from public school, and transforms it into a nostalgic dream of everyone's youth. This, coupled with the sparse, but personal decor, makes the place feel cool. Indie, but professional, funky yet urban, like a crew team boat house but just a hint.

The beer, of course, is fantastic. How they have so many varieties while being such a small brewery, is incredible. There is sure to be something that appeals to every palette. And the food is great. It's glorified pub grub, sure, but it's done to a such a consistently high level it stands on its own. I often come just for their ruben, or hearty beet salad, some fries, of course, and the beer comes second. That can't be said of the food at most breweries where the food is an obligatory afterthought. No, their menu is solid. With enough well thought out healthy options to satisfy, and enough filthy, fatty drinking foods to keep you happy. Highly recommend.

All food cooked on grill with meat. On phone I said I wanted veggie sandwich and was told they had options for me. Went out of my way to go there and was severely disappointed.

drawn here by TA review. turns out there is a pub, pizzeria & a deli ... ordered off the daily special board at the pub (rather than published menu) ... tasty bbq sandwich and fish tacos ... excellent flavorful beers: dual hearted ipa and dreadnut stout

will return next time in town
