We arrived late from PDX and our key and instructions were all in the mailbox at the office just as we were emailed it would be. The room was clean, sunny and very cute for the two of us. The kitchen has what you need and the view can't be beat. Right out our door (1B) is a small grassy area where we sat to enjoy the ocean view and the starry nights. Extra blankets are in the room for sitting outside when it's chilly. Easily walk up the road or the beach into town (less than a mile) for meals or supplies. If you are there in August, pick some blackberries across the driveway -- delicious! We would definitely stay here again -- Cannon Beach is beautiful and the town is so cute.

Room tip: Spend the extra money for an ocean view, but even if you don't, it's right there.

I really enjoyed the views from this small suite. The kitchenette was fully functional and quite clean. The bed was comfortable and the weather wonderful. the fold out couch was suboptimal, and the wi-fi should not be offered as an amenity. The connectivity was terrible and it kept bumping me off.

Room tip: I believe all rooms have a view, but it was nice to be upstairs.

I can't review the other rooms, but 1a is really small (250 sq ft?) with worn out carpet. It is otherwise nicely decorated and clean. What they call a partial view is barely a view. From the bed and micro- dinette, the view is of the cars and the parking lot. A neiboring house and bushes are in the background. Only if you stand up can you see a glimpse of distant water. While 1a is close to the beach, I wouldn't stay again. Rather than the sound of waves, you hear tire crunching parking lot gravel.

From beginning to end this was a perfect stay. The staff called us inquiring when we would be arriving and let us know that they would be leaving our key for us after closing. The room was perfect. The view is priceless. Worth every penny. Our only regret was that we weren't staying longer. We stayed in the Lighthouse Suite which is actually a 1 bedroom apartment in my opinion. Very clean and comfortable. We were already planning our next trip before we left. Washer and dryer are available to use in the office which was VERY handy. The location is perfect for just about every reason. The beach obviously but the little village is nearby and perfect for a nice walk, shopping and eats. Tillamook Cheese Factory is about an hour away and Seaside has more shopping needs like a grocery store and clothing should you need it. Astoria is a quick drive for the Goonies fans.

Very impressed with this quaint cottage-like hotel. I came down for a 2 day getaway with my sister. We drove over from Portland and arrived around 5:30 pm. When we arrived, the office had closed, but they left a key and instructions in an envelope. Amazing location and view. We had been upgraded from ground floor to 2nd story, right on the beach. Very clean, quaint. One bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom with shower tub combination. Would definitely stay again.
