Overall a fantastic place, and I believe possibly the best view in all of the ranch. It's also directly next to the beautiful new pool and bistro completed in June of 2015, as well as the Lodge restaurant. The condo was well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The quarters were a little tight in places so take note if you're plus-sized. But overall a great place and we would certainly return.
Great views, a well supplied modern kitchen and a working fireplace made us feel comfortable in this cosy condo. We loved watching all the goose ducklings running around by the pond. The master bath toilet is located in a tight space but really not much of an issue. Wi-Fi was easy to connect with and the owners left easy to follow directions for using the TV/DVD set-up. My daughter and I had a great stay.
Do be aware that this unit is located about 75-ish yards to the Lodge which is currently undergoing renovations. Had we stayed during the week I would have wanted another unit due to construction noise and dust. However we came in on a Friday night and left on Saturday and they did extend us a construction discount. Construction work was happening on Saturday but it didn't seem to get going until late morning and a note I saw said they quit at 1pm. We were told the lodge was scheduled for a July opening. If we were to return after July then for sure we would rent this condo again.

We chose this rental because it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms - ideal for two couples. It was nicely decorated - rough pine walls and a gorgeous heated slate floor. The beds were comfortable, and the view was magnificent! The bathrooms - especially the upstairs - left something to be desired. The upstairs room was fitted into a long narrow space; as you walked into it, there was a small laundry area on one side, followed by a sink, and then toilet and shower side by side at the end. There was no door on this room, so no separation from the bedroom. In a manner of speaking, it was a 'drop your pants and back in' situation, as there was extremely little space on either side of the toilet. It made us wonder if code requirements are different for vacation homes. The downstairs bathroom was better, but the shower was quite narrow and the toilet seat was quite short. With all of the effort that went into the decor of the rest of the condo, it seems a little more thought could have been given to the arrangement of the bathrooms.
We ate at Robert's Pub on Saturday evening, and despite the fact that we ordered only three appetizers, they were wonderful to us. The food was also very good (evidently they have expanded their menu because the lodge restaurant is currently closed undergoing ADA upgrades).
One more complaint: the cancellation policy is quite harsh. The deposit was the entire cost of the stay, and it was collected in full 30 days before we visited. Had the weather prevented us from getting to the Ranch, the only refund would have been taxes and cleaning fee. It might be that their unofficial policy is to be more lenient if a guest encountered weather difficulties and wanted to rebook rather than cancel, but it would have soured me on staying there ever again if we had lost our money.
