Went to Tokyo Pot for the first time, with a group of 8 of us including my 20 month old daughter. Easily one of the best restaurants in Stillwater. It doesn't look like much on the outside but it is very cosy and well decorated on the inside.

You cook your own food at the table, they have two types of broth and sweet one and a spicy one. You pick your meat you would like at vegetable and rice come with it too.

Between the whole group we all ordered every kind of meat so we could all try it, I had the lamb and it was excellent!

I would definitely recommend!

Tokyo Pot isn't just a place to eat, its an experience! The style of food is called shabu-shabu, which is where you get very thinly cut meat and a plate of vegetables and rice and you cook them yourself in boiling broths. There are multiple sauces and sauce combinations that are all delicious! It was very fun to learn how to cook the meat and the results were incredible! I highly recommend Tokyo Pot!

Tokyo Pot serves Shabu Shabu, a unique style of dining which involves boiling meat, vegetables, noodles, and tofu-- and you do it yourself! The restaurant provides your choice high quality meat, veggies, rice, etc. The waiter suggests cooking times for the food, then the rest is up to you. There are two boiling pots in the middle of the table and you get to prepare your food as you wish.
Everything is delicious, but this restaurant is as much about the experience as the food. The hospitality is wonderful. The owner is hilarious and visits every table and will probably offer you a sake bomb.
From the outside, Tokyo Pot looks like a hole in the wall on a block with few other businesses. but inside, it's warm, cozy and lively.
