Easy to find; right beside the boneyard for the local power company, so unless you get a site as far from the fence as possible, plan on hearing the local utility trucks and crews loading and shouting as they prepare to go to work at about 7 a.m.

Friendly folks, but then again, that's how you keep your customers, right?

Perhaps instead of telling a country boy from the Shenandoah Valley about poisonous snakes in your fish pond and bragging on your wonderful newly-renovated ladies room, you might have mentioned that the men's room looks like it belongs in an inner city YMCA built during the 70s.

I have a hard time imagining that the showers I saw (rusted and bubbling paint to the point that you stood in rusty water while showering) got to be in this bad a condition in just five weeks.

Dishonest, gratuitous reviews are useless and a disservice to the traveling community, which is why I am not a Pollyanna reviewer.

I will say that, overall, the facility is clean, the staff pleasant, services offered were sufficient, power was steady and the other campers were quiet (which made it easier to hear the interstate). A competent campground with some issues, but good enough for a night's stay.

Unless a future review mentions a men's bathroom upgrade, we won't be stopping here again.

Room Tip: Take a shower at the place you stay the night before.

I'm sorry you didn't have the greatest experience, but don't be disrespectful to the 99.9% of the our customers that stay with us calling them "pollyanna reviewers" -just kind of hatefull - instead of really portraying who we are. We have worked relentlessly to create the best environment, grounds and bathrooms in any campground.... anywhere!!....granite, tile....you will be amazed! We also have a great playground for kids and a great 1800 square foot fenced in pet playground. We have long, level pull through sites with full hookups, both 30 and 50 amp electric, 65 channels of cable and great WIFI. Our park is quiet and peaceful and we LOVE our customers. This smallish RV park is conveniently located off of I-40 just south of town. It is out by itself and s easy to miss if you don't see the sign on the left side of the road so that you quickly turn RIGHT. It is surrounded by some tall trees and o one side of the park there is a small pond (they rent kayaks) and a great wooded/brushy area for walking.

The hosts are some of the best I have ever met. Very kind people. They have a great little store and will even cook and deliver you a pizza if you wish. You better get a reservation here fast because it can fill up quickly. We liked the place so much, we extended our stay. Great wifi and easy hook ups. Their showers are great with lots of hot water and room.

We stayed here one night on our way back home from a cross country trip. We were pleased with how close it was to stores and restaurants. The bathrooms were spotless. The pool was clean and inviting (sadly it was a little too chilly out for a dip). The playground was great too. Some of our party stayed in one of the cabins by the pond and loved it. All in all it was one of the best campgrounds on the whole trip and we wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

We stayed for one night on our way across country. We arrived right at closing. Dawn not only stayed late to help us check in, but also called a local restaurant for us to see if they were still open for dinner!

The bathrooms were spotless and the showers a delight. We didn't try the pool, but it and all the grounds were inviting and very well taken care of. The owners are kind, accommodating and passionate about ensuring their guests have a great experience.

We have traveled to many KOAs and other campgrounds and this was one of the best.

$40.00 for the night and the spot was level and shady. The people were friendly and the grounds well maintained. Only negative would be the dust from the road. They had a pool but I didn't check it out. We only stayed one night. Convenient to Fort Smith.
