This charming cottage was ideal for the last week of our holidays in Wales and was central for all we had on our want-to-see-and-do-list between the Brecon Beacons and Cardiff (and there is SO MUCH! If you need inspiration you will find plenty of leaflets in the cottage itself). The cottage had everything we could possibly have needed - plus we loved the "Welsh tea" welcome that was waiting for us on our arrival. The cottage is very clean, quiet (despite the road) and warm, as well as tastefully furnished. We also enjoyed the superb views from the garden. Very much recommended and definitely the best cottage we had during all of our holidays in Wales so far.
We arrived for the holiday and were greeted with a fantastic e mail and also the welcome pack on arrival included a bottle of wine and some great Welsh cakes, tea and coffee and squashes.
The cottage was such a nice place with a lovely traditional theme, the old wooden doors were stunning. We were a family of 4 visiting from Scotland to see some family from Wales. This was such a lovely location where we could see Pen Y Fan from the back garden. We took our dog with us and he had a ball the back garden led right onto the mountains where we could walk for hours.
Jane the owner was such a lovely person who would do anything for you. I cannot say enough good about this cottage and the owner. Even the neighbors were amazing and helpful and friendly.
We would definitely recommend this cottage as its such a great location and with the Brecon Beacons only 20 minutes and in the heart of the valleys.
Also a lovely place to visit where you can pay your respects for the poor children of 1966 that perished in the Aberfan disaster.
Thank you again Jane for a lovely week.

We had a weekend break in the half term holidays. Great place to stay and a lovely cottage. The rooms were very spacious with amble room to relax and chill with friends. We had the opportunity of using the gardens and had a BBQ.
We stayed for a long weekend in August. The cottage is delightful, a home from home. Everything you could think of was provided. Lovely welcome pack on arrival and lots of information on the local area and things to do. We would definitely recommend.
