I had been craving a good steak for a while so we decided to go to Long Horn. We arrived about 6:30 on a Friday night and they were pretty busy as I assumed they would be. We were told there would be a 25 minute wait and it was just a little under that. We were seated and our server came to the table immediately and asked us what we wanted for drinks and answered a couple of questions we had about the special. I had a Mountain Mule to drink which was pretty good but it had a little too much ginger ale in it but we added some water and it was just right. My husband had a Lynchburg Lemonade and he said it was good. We both had the bacon wrapped sirloin, I had a regular salad and my hubby had a Caesar salad, I had the baked sweet potato with brown sugar and cinnamon and hubby had asparagus. We ordered the chocolate sensation for dessert. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection and my sweet potato was huge and very good. My husband said his asparagus was good and we both love the honey wheat bread that comes with the meal. When I first looked at my steak it didn't look all that big but I actually ended up bringing about half of it home with me. We also were too full to eat our dessert so we took that home as well. Our waitress was very attentive and was always close by when we needed her. This is the third time we have done this special and feel it is a great deal for the price. Where else could you get a very tasty steak, salad, sweet potato, all the bread you can eat and dessert for $ 15.00 per person? Or if you don't want the dessert you can switch it for an appetizer. I noticed a couple of people mentioned that the greeters weren't very friendly~they spoke to us as soon as we walked in the door and said goodbye when we left. It was a great experience and that is why we continue to go back.
