$45 per person and the food was terrible. The French onion soup was the worst we’ve ever had. The risotto had sun dried tomatoes that were chewy (as if they were just thrown in) and the creme brûlée was goopy on the edges as if it were sitting in the frig for days. Such. A. Waste. Of. Money. And. Time.

The comedy was extremely crude and rude.

The wine was excellent (as usual).

Our first visit along the wine trail. Every wine we tried we enjoyed. The Cab, R2 , Ziffandale, Chardonnay and white merlot were our favorites.

The young blonde lady that helped us was very nice and helpful. They had a special do wine tasting for $5 each and choose a flight of white , red or sweets and go down the menu. She allowed us to try others as well.

The food looked delicious but we didn't try because it was 11 am and we just had a late breakfast.

There are 5 of us that go out to lunch once a month and lately we seem to be going to different wineries. Since one of us lives in Coshocton we decided to go to Ravens Glen. We each did a wine tasting when we first arrived and as somebody mentioned the girl that does it was very helpful~she informed us about each wine, whether it was better chilled or warm, what foods would pair with it, etc. Three of us purchased wine and then we went into the dining room for lunch. Since I had been there once before we knew the scenery was very pretty and it was sunny and the leaves had changed and it was beautiful to look out the window at the view! We each had something different from entrees to salads to sandwiches and they all were excellent :) I especially liked the sweet potato fries as my side~they were really good! Our waitress was very good, friendly and kept our food moving in a timely manner. It was a wonderful lunch and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Was in Mt. Vernon and we added this to our trip. The hostesses for the wine tasting were down to earth and quite helpful. I had a hearty salad, can't really muck that up so I don't have nay input on much else. Oh - the calamari was surprising tasty and well prepared! Gentle piano music played on a Friday night and the dining room overlooks what looks like a stream or small area of a river.

This was our fourth anual "Girlfriends Weekend" visiting wineries in this area and Raven's Glennis our favorite handsdown! The tasting bar is beautiful and accomdates quite a few people, the tasting s are also the best deal of any other winery: $5 for a flight of wine plus the souvenier wine glass. They were not stingy with the serving size of each wine tasted and also tell you about each wine and what food pairs well with it.The wine itself is excellent! After tasting, the selection of 7 wines, we each purchased our favorites and they cleaned our glasses, wrapped them and put them in a bag with the bottles, then kept them aside so we could eat at the restaurant and retrieve them later. Then there was the resaturant...Excellent food! decent prices and very good wait staff. The view was gorgeous with a stream running thru the vineyards,a gazebo, and we were blessed to be there with autumn leaves on the trees surrounding the property. We talked about making the 2 hour trip again sometime just to eat there again!!
