Harrison's is located in the middle of the old town area of this historic (est. 1840) and picturesque community of Tipp City.
The dining room decor is appealing and consistent with a traditional setting. The restaurant was full of locals with many young families. The menu offerings are very broad from burgers to a $40 prime rub dinner. Obviously, something for everyone. The wine menu was narrow, but the beer offerings were amazing. Our server was friendly, fast and professional.
Nothing better than excellent bread for starters, and the sourdough and rye doesn't disappoint. Want a treat, order the french onion soup and dip the rye bread in the broth. Wow.
My wife order the chicken piccata and loved it. I order the beef tip burgundy and the sauce was outstanding. It was a bit light on the "beef tip" part of the dish.
Thank you Tripadvisor for helping us find Harrison's. It clearly beats an airport hotel with dinner at Denny's.
