We decided to spend the day there with family. We had a 7 and 11 year old and 3 men in their 20's and 3 in their 40's and 50's. We all enjoyed ourselves! We paid for the mega passes for everyone, which is worth it if you go to at least 2 of the areas. It is cheaper than buying separate passes to everything. Although, the water park alone is just fine. There is a new animal area where you can feed the animals if you'd like to. You can pet most of them also. The day we went, we did not deal with any crazy long lines, which was really nice. I had seen a lot of reviews saying that the lines were long, but it really wasn't bad. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. The food and drinks are very expensive, but you are not able to bring in your own, so be prepared to eat ahead of time if you can.

I visited Monsoon Lagoon with a friend. We brought our children ages 8, 11 and 16. For the most part we enjoyed ourselves, the lines were not long and it wasn't too busy. We were able to enjoy all of the attractions the only turn-off was the pool attached to the bar. It was gross! It seems like it had not been cleaned all week. I would avoid that area altogether.

Hi Ms H,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear you had an overall good experience at Monsoon Lagoon! Please be aware pools are cleaned throughout the day. High volume days result in more sunscreen in the pools. If you would like to discuss your experience further, please contact Sheila@monsoonlagoonwaterpark.com. We hope to see you again!

Took grandchildren ages 2 and 8. Both had a fantastic time. Kids play area is a delight for toddlers through grade school. Activities available for multiple ages. Larger slides for older kids and adults. Nice pool for all, equipped with swim up bar for adult drinks. Loved the lazy river where one can get dunked several times...or not if preferred. Dry park has go carts, bumper boats, mini golf for all ages. Zoo is very nice, with options to buy food and feed animals. Pizza, ice cream, etc available. Cute gift store, too. Park is clean, safe, and well managed.

Monsoon Lagoon is now under new ownership. It is a great little park offering both dry rides and water rides. Tickets can be purchased based on your interest. In addition to mini-golf, go-karts, bumper boats, water slides, they have also added a small safari zoo this year. Check out their website for a variety of deals.

Staff is very friendly and seems to take interest in their visitors.

While riding the go-karts, they may slow down particularly at the end of the ride. They can control the go-karts to slow them down and/or make them stop in an emergency or for safety reasons. This is the first place I have seen this at. At first, I thought my go-kart was having mechanical issues to finally realized what was going on.

They also offer a little snack/beverage bar for those visiting the park. The only complaint is the food/beverages are rather expensive. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Monsoon Lagoon if traveling through Port Clinton.

Went there over the weekend with my friend and had a blast! Swim up bar and lazy river were great but the zoo was a nice addition. Got licked by a giraffe, was able to hold a wallaby Joey, and swarmed by parakeets! New management really turned that place around! Will definitely be back!!
