Reviewed 16 August 2017

We stopped here for a night on our way across the country in August and barely slept because the air conditioning unit sounded like an incoming train. If not for that, the rooms would've been fine: clean, spacious, comfortable. We were traveling with our dog, so we were limited on where we could stay, and we were lucky to get one of the few remaining dog-friendly rooms there. The woman at the check-in was extremely helpful and nice, as was the woman at the breakfast buffet who offered to fill up our dog's water bottle. There isn't a lot around the area except for other similar motels, and I guess it's a popular spot to stay if you're going to Cedar Point (but we were not). Most of the restaurants and food places are closed by 9:30/10. They could amp up the lighting in the parking lot as a suspicious man approached us as we were unloading the car, but apparently, he was harmless, just unsettling. That air conditioner though -- wow, was it loud and not very effective. Barely made it through the night there.
