My husband and I stayed here for a few days in October of 2015 for our anniversary. This cabin was perfect for us! It had a nice romantic ambiance and was quiet and serene. It was also super close to all the places we wanted hike. The whole cabin was clean and tidy and we had everything we needed for those few days, coffee pot, pans, toaster, fridge, microwave silverware, glasses and mugs, as well as different sizes of bowls.
The one thing that was not an a big deal for us but that some might find difficult is the drive way is on a steep hill and is a little difficult to get out of.
Other than that everything was perfect!
The cabin's surroundings were awesome. The fireplace was very nice(make sure to bring your own matches though.) We were disappointed in the bed.....the mattress needed replaced and the bedding wasn't the nicest. The hot tub cover needed replaced though the hot tub itself was decent. There were no mixing bowls of any sort. We have stayed in other cabins in Hocking Hills before and so this one was not quite what we were use to though the outdoor surrounding were the best. It had snowed a lot and the management came up and shoveled out our driveway so we could get out of the driveway. I would recommend all wheel drive or 4 by 4 because our front wheel drive car had to be pushed. No wi-fi or tv reception though that was told to us beforehand. I am short and there was no step to step into the hot tub and most places we have stayed always had a step.
