Not fancy but reasonably priced and walking distance to the restaurants and clubs. Small exercise room. Rooms are large with small kitchens with stove and full size refrigerator. Can't recall if they have WiFi.

Date of stay: May 2016
Trip type: Travelled solo

I stayed there last year and it was much better.
There were some female underwear under the bed. Other guest were noisy all night long, next to my window. Internet was down for half of my first day.
Yet, the location is amazing. Only minutes from KSU and downtown Kent.

I booked this hotel for a week for my aunt. It was much cheaper than the ones in Brimfield and included a full sized kitchen.
The room was clean and adequate, not fancy but nice. There is a CVS right next door for anything you may need, and you can walk everywhere!
Traffic is heavy outside the door, but I sleep with a tv on anyway.

Room tip: It might be quieter in the back of the hotel?

This inn was on the list of recommended accommodations KSU had given us for our recent tour of the college. We thought it would be convenient as it was 3 blocks from the school and 2 blocks from town. What a disappointment. The room was rundown, and appeared dirty. The rollout bed they gave us for our daughter was awful. The springs were sticking up into the mattress, and there was no mattress pad on it! It was 10 PM at night, we thought it would just be easy to stay, but none of us were getting ready for bed, (too uncomfortable to get undressed). After sitting in the room for 30 minutes thinking what to do, we decided to call the Hampton Inn down the road; they had a room, lucky us! It seemed like a palace compared to the Inn, it was clean and served a complimentary continental breakfast. Not wanting to hurt their feelings, I told the people at the inn my husband had a “bad back”, and could not sleep on the mattress. They were very understanding and refunded my money. I think KSU should revise their accommodation list.
