We were travelling in an RV and needed a stop before tackling the Tarkine. It was a wonderful free camp site that was next to the resort. We had access to the Hotel restaurant and bar. Very convenient and the facilities well maintained.

We ate twice at the Bistro at Tall Timbers. Both times the food was faultless. The staff are extremely friendly. My only complaiint and it is minor is the lighting isn’t great and a low cost option would be candles on the tables, even the battery operated ones. Just a thought.

It was nice to be welcomed at 8pm, without the usual rush to get you out the door that is experienced in other places. The staff were super friendly and well trained. The steak was very good.

The decor is nice except lighting is so low that most diners were using the lights on their phones to read the menus. The staff are friendly.
The food isn't very good, the pork-chop and the chicken breast were very dry and the included carrots were old and over cooked and covered in pepper and the 'banoffe' pie didn't have any banana (the ban in the banoffee) it did have some banana flavored sugar lumps yuck, not very nice at all.
However one of my dining partners had the lamb ribs and another had the pizza which were excellent.
There is a kids menu which is good but if you want to eat at this family friendly resort this is the only place where you can take the kids, expensive and not really that nice.
Maybe the best option is take away pizza in the room next time.

Good selection of meals. Kids play area was warmly welcomed. The wood fine was a nice touch and kept us warm.
